Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors welcomes you to this meeting. This agenda
contains a brief general description of each item to be considered. If you wish
to speak on an item on the agenda, please complete a Speaker’s Card identifying
the item(s) and return it to the Board Clerk. If you wish to speak on a matter
that does not appear on the agenda, you may do so during the Public Comment
period. Persons speaking during Public Comment will be limited to three
minutes, or depending on the number of persons wishing to speak, it may be
reduced to allow all members of the public the opportunity to address the
Board. Except as otherwise provided by law, no action or discussion shall be
taken/conducted on any item not appearing on the agenda. When addressing the

The Board may take action sitting as the Board of

Use Commission, and In Home Supportive Services Public Authority.
Availability of Public Records. All public records related to an open session item on
this agenda, which are not exempt from disclosure pursuant to the California
Public Records Act, that are distributed to a majority of the legislative body

Subrecipient Agreement in the amount of $555,834 with Hope Crisis Response
Network for single family home construction for the Slater Fire home
replacement program and adopt a resolution approving exceptions to CDBG Housing
Rehabilitation Guidelines.

second amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the County of
Siskiyou and the Karuk Tribe to memorialize a flat fee criminal justice
mitigation payment in the amount of $128,750.

approval and authorization related to a $500,000 broadband grant the County
received through the Local Technical Assistance Grant Program.

resolution approving the County of Siskiyou Salary Schedule for the period

Services Specialist II – 1.0 FTE, create Behavioral Health Services Clinician

the Twenty-Sixth Addendum to Professional Services Retention Agreement with
Nossaman, LLP, to advise and assist the County on Klamath legislation and
litigation related matters, increasing the compensation under the Contract by
$7,000 bringing the total amount not to exceed to $681,000.

Resolution adopting Transit Asset Management Plan 2022 to assess the current
condition of capital assets, determine what condition and performance of its
assets should be, identify the unacceptable risks, and deciding how to best

Approve FY
22/23 contract with Yreka Union High School District to provide prevention and
early intervention services in an amount not to exceed $180,700.

Contract with Casa Serenity, LLC, to provide residential care to adult clients
in need of a 24 hour skilled residential setting at the rates specified in
Exhibit A for the term July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026.

22/23 contract with Quartz Valley Indian Reservation to provide prevention,

Approve
the new County based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (CMAA) Program
Participation Agreement between the State of California - Department of Health
Care Services (DHCS) to permit the Local Government Agency (LGA) to continue
participating in the CMAA program under California's Medi-Cal Program. This
Participation Agreement would replace the County’s previous contract with the
Department of Health Care Services effective July 1, 2020 and would continue
until terminated by either party.

Services - Social Services Division
Approve
first amendment to the CARES Act Emergency Services Grant Program (ESG-CV)
subrecipient agreement between Shasta County through its housing and community
action agency and Siskiyou County to offer essential services to vulnerable
homeless individuals and families due to the COVID-19 pandemic and increase the
compensation with reallocation funding by $250,000, and extending the term of
the agreement to November 30, 2023.

agreement with BI Incorporated to provide electronic monitoring services for
both juvenile and adult probationers at the rates specified in Schedule A, for
the term July 1, 2022 through May 3, 2027.
