The Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors welcomes you to this meeting. This agenda contains a brief general description of each item to be considered. Approve FY18/19 agreement with California Department of Food and Agriculture for soil treatment supervision, commodity treatment supervision and commodity and/or soil sampling pertaining to the Nematode Control Program, in an amount not to exceed $40,050.

B.            AUDITOR-CONTROLLER

Approve contract with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, to perform auditing services, in an amount not to exceed $111,905, for the term July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2020.

Approve addendum to agreement with Siskiyou County Joint Community College District for the Fire Warden to provide education assistance in the areas of standardized and certified training for potential and existing volunteer/career firefighters, extending the term through June 30, 2018.

E.            GENERAL COUNTY FIRE

Approve FY18/19 agreement with Siskiyou Joint Community College District for the Fire Warden to provide education assistance in the areas of standardized and certified training for potential and existing volunteer/career firefighters, at the rate of $3.00 per student per class hour.

F.            GENERAL COUNTY FIRE

Approve FY 18/19 agreements with California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for fire protection services, including emergency fire protection, emergency response, basic fire support, and dispatch services for the McCloud CAL FIRE Amador station, in an amount not to exceed $31,280 and the General County Fire/Hornbrook Amador station, in an amount not to exceed $508,726.

G.           HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION

Approve agreement with California Department of Health Care Services to accept award and implement the Partnership For Success project, in an amount not to exceed $266,000 for the term July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2020.

H.           HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION

Approve amendment to agreement with California Department of Health Care Services, due to revisions to Medicaid Managed Care regulations that became effective/applicable on July 1, 2017 to extend the term through June 30, 2018.

I.              HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH/SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISIONS

Approve addendum to contract with Jones Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial for services at 2060 Campus Drive, Yreka, CA, increasing the contract by $43,020 for a total not to exceed $199,020, and extending the term through June 30, 2019.

J.            HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION

Approve addendum to contract with Jones Carpet Cleaning & Janitorial for services at the facility located at 1107 Ream Avenue, Mt. Shasta, CA, increasing the contract by $13,620 for a total not to exceed $27,240 and extending the term through June 30, 2019.

K.            HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION

Approve agreement with the California Department of Health Care Services for provision of specialty mental health services to eligible Medi-Cal beneficiaries, in the amount of $0, for the term July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022.

L.            HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - PUBLIC HEALTH DIVISION

Approve addendum to contract with The Chico Research Foundation, revising the Scope of Service, Exhibit A to reflect additional duties and increasing the contract by $14,867 for a total not to exceed $58,639.

M.           HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISION

Approve addendum to contract with Jones Carpet Cleaning & Janitorial for services at 818 South Main Street, Yreka, CA, increasing the contract by $36,180 for a total not to exceed $172,080, and extending the term through June 30, 2019.

N.           NATURAL RESOURCES

Approve letter of thanks to California Legislators for attending a recent KARE Legislators Woods Tour.

O.           NATURAL RESOURCES

Approve letter to the Klamath River Renewal Corporation requesting a reimbursement agreement with the County for the work the County and its consultant have performed at KRRC's request as it relates to the Klamath Dams Project.

Discussion and possible direction re update on the Siskiyou County/Klamath Basin water issues, including impacts of water cut offs, associated financial impacts and comparison of 2017 crop report values versus 2018 projects values.

Discussion and possible direction re update on the County Jail project, including an overview of Project Establishment documents, project Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and draft Resolution designating $686,000 to be placed in a fund for the County Jail Construction project cash match.

C.           COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR/TOBACCO EDUCATION COUNCIL

Discussion, direction and possible action re presentation summarizing the activities, purchases and accomplishments completed by the Tobacco Education Council and request for FY 18/19 funding in the amount of $10,000.
