The
Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors welcomes you to this meeting. This agenda
contains a brief general description of each item to be considered. If you wish
to speak on an item on the agenda, please complete a Speaker’s Card identifying
the item(s) and return it to the Board Clerk. If you wish to speak on a matter
that does not appear on the agenda, you may do so during the Public Comment
period. Persons speaking during Public Comment will be limited to three
minutes, or depending on the number of persons wishing to speak, it may be
reduced to allow all members of the public the opportunity to address the
Board. Except as otherwise provided by law, no action or discussion shall be
taken/conducted on any item not appearing on the agenda. When addressing the
Board, please state your name for the record prior to providing your comments.
Please address the Board as a whole through the Chair. Comments to individual
Supervisors or staff are not permitted.
The Board may take action sitting as the Board of Supervisors and as the
governing body of: Siskiyou County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District Board, Siskiyou Power Authority, County Service Area 3 Board, County
Service Area 4 Board, County Service Area 5 Board, Airport Land Use Commission,
and In Home Supportive Services Public Authority.
Availability of Public Records. All public records related to an open session item on this agenda,
which are not exempt from disclosure pursuant to the California Public Records
Act, that are distributed to a majority of the legislative body will be
available for public inspection at 510 North Main Street, Yreka CA 96097 at the
same time that the public records are distributed or made available to the

Approve request to authorize a 5%
temporary pay increase for the positions of Deputy Director of Planning, Deputy
Director of Environmental Health and Deputy Director of Building Divisions of
the Community Development Department, effective April 8, 2018.

COUNTY
CLERK
Adopt Resolution accepting the
request from the City of Weed to consolidate a special municipal election to be
held on June 5, 2018 with the Statewide Direct Primary Election to include a
general tax measure and directing the County Clerk to conduct those elections.

COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT - PLANNING DIVISION
Approve request to create one Code
Enforcement Officer position, 1.0 FTE, effective May 6, 2018, utilizing
Community Development Block Grant funding.

GENERAL
COUNTY FIRE
Approve request to establish the
budget for the purchase of a 1-ton truck to be converted to a Type 6 engine, in
the amount of $60,000, register the vehicle to the County and add to General
County Fire's inventory.

- AIRPORTS
Approve hangar rental agreement with
Mario Galliano, to rent a county owned hangar located at the Siskiyou County
Airport, at the base monthly rate of $214.37 for the first twelve months,
effective April 5, 2018.

Dale Bush to rent a county owned hangar located at the Siskiyou County Airport,
at the base monthly rent of $214.37 for the first twelve months, effective

Approve addendum to agreement with
the City of Tulelake for operation of the Tulelake Solid Waste/Recycling
Facility, to extend the term from April 16, 2018 through April 15, 2019, for a
total contract amount not to exceed $98,000.

HUMAN SERVICES - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION
Approve request to authorize
Personnel to hire Nancy Sesson at Step 3 of the Behavioral Health Division
Clinical Services Site Supervisor salary range, effective May 6, 2018.

Approve addendum to contract with
Praxis Associates, LLC, to add an additional $15,000, for a total contract
amount not to exceed $99,250.

Approve request to ratify grant
application and approve grant agreement with the California Department of
Public Health for the Immunization Program, in an amount not to exceed $261,020

Approve request to authorize
Personnel to hire Marie Dowell at Step 3 of the Health Assistant II salary

Language Line Services, Inc. to provide translation services, extending the

application and accept Partnership HealthPlan of California grant award, in the

Approve letter to the California
Wildlife Conservation Board stating opposition to the California Department of
Fish and Wildlife's purchase of the Shasta Big Springs Ranch property.

Approve addendum to lease agreement
with Davis, Davis and Lange for the building located at 1215 South Main Street,
Yreka CA, to extend the term through June 30, 2021, at the rates identified in
the addendum.

COUNTY FISH AND GAME COMMISSION
Approve contribution, in the amount
of $3,000 from the Siskiyou County Fish and Game Commission to the California
Deer Association for the Siskiyou Deer Study UTV/ATV purchase.
